Research
I am proud to be part of an incredible translational research team at UCLA. We recently collaborated with NASA and the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) to test a novel drug that prevents bone loss on Earth and microgravity-induced bone loss in space.
In short, our team led a research mission where we sent rodents to the International Space Station to test a potential new therapy that accelerates bone growth in humans. Check out my first book, Your Essential Guide to Dental School Admissions, now available on Amazon! In short, our team compiled the first ever collection and critiques of successful dental school essays for pre-dental students. The book also contains chapters on all aspects of the dental school application process. Our goal is to help and inspire the next generation of pre-dental students to succeed.
